Wrap-around Fort Treehouse

Materials: Arkansas Cypress, Arkansas Eastern Red Cedar

A wrap around deck-style open treehouse was built around a beautiful 93" circumference white oak in the family's backyard.  The 150 square foot platform provides an open air play and relaxation space with sturdy railings, steel-bracket supports and a flexible design to allow for tree growth. A twist slide provides a quick getaway (and is a favorite of the family's 6 year old daughter) and the area beneath allowed the family to preserve the existing landscape design. An adjacent swing set provides even more fun for the family, and even includes a traditional tire swing.
