Starr Family Adventure Playground

The New School, Fayetteville, Arkansas

Completed in two phases 2014-16

With the addition of a new facility and playground area, The New School took the forward-looking step of planning a natural playground with wood and stone elements.  Natural State Treehouses provided two playhouses, a large climber, a covered bridge and chain-supported "clatter" bridge, three large sandboxes with shade coverings, and many raised planter beds for herb and vegetable gardens.  Natural elements were used throughout, including many whole-log cedar trees and locally sourced cypress and cedar lumber.
