Fayetteville Creative School Playground Renovation

Fayetteville Creative School has a beautiful three acre playground with a unique platform-style treehouse built on a very large cherry tree.  After a full evaluation, we determined that the treehouse was fundamentally safe and strong, but that it needed a new staircase and some additional work to insure that it would remain safe for many more years.  In the end, we found a solution that was attractive, but allowed us to avoid waste by preserving those original elements that were still in good shape.

We added a wide, gentle staircase with a generous landing, new railings double-boxed to insure that they would last for many years, and re-worked the sitting platform around the tree to account for tree growth.
